Genwon speed 3 wheels! I wanted a set of summers/winters, and now I finally have two good sets of wheels for that. I just ripped off the premature cracking all season Firestone’s off the stock wheels and put general altimax artic winters on them. These speed3 wheels have almost 1% tread left, so I’m looking to sumitomo for cheap, great max summer replacements.

If you only have 1% tread left on the wheels it sounds like you should have done the tires a long time ago

I just bought the wheels mounted with the used tires. I’ve been running them for a month and am getting sumitomos today/tomorrow.

Since you are looking for cheap summers, definitely take a look at the Direzza DZ102. They held up well for a week down at the Dragon and were cheap as hell. I hope to have them for at least a few summers of driving all over the place. I wouldn’t use them for autocross but any sort of daily spirited driving is great. I assume they make them in 17 or 18 or whatever size the MS3 uses.
